DLG Ice Factory was thrilled to be a part of the NCAA Welcome Team party on March 30th. It was an incredible experience to be able to share our love of ice carving with such an enthusiastic crowd.
We started the day by setting up the stage on the roof of The Post. With a variety of tools from DeWalt and others, and we were excited to get started.
We carved an astronaut holding a within the city skyline. We included the NCAA Final Four logo. Once the sculpture was complete, we began to add the finer details.
The guests were very impressed with our work. They were amazed at how we were able to create such intricate details with a block of ice. It was a lot of fun interacting with the guests and answering their questions. It was a great opportunity for us to showcase our skills and entertain the guests and we hope to have the opportunity to work with the NCAA again in the future.
We would like to also thank our team for their hard work and dedication. The sculpture lasted till the party was over, after which our strike team took it down.
